Adequacy v4.6 update with ergonomic and collaborative improvements for RGPD compliance

The new version of Adequacy was released on July 9. Thanks to the feedback from our customers and the investment of our team, Adequacy v4.6 becomes more ergonomic and more collaborative. More than ever, Adequacy is the reference in terms of GDPR solutions.

As always, this new version brings a lot of new features and evolutions.

Adequacy v4.6, more ergonomic RGPD solution.

“Same quality with fewer clicks.” Our ambition is to free up the time of DPOs, not to take it up for us. The developments in 4.6 related to the user interface pursue this objective.

Menu review

Who said a menu should only be a way to access the functionalities of a solution? With 4.6, we revised the menu to make it an element that allows you to structure your compliance process.

Generalization of automatic suggestion assistants

Adequacy has been offering automatic suggestion wizards for a long time. They are a real success with our customers. Over the past three months, we have been working on improving them and extending them to the entire solution. Who said continuous improvement?

Versioning of treatment sheets

We continue on the subject of continuous improvement!

Many of you know that, and Patrick Tiev repeated it himself in one of his videos: the register is a tool for daily use. The changes you make to it are indeed numerous and frequent.

Keeping these different versions can be important. In particular to demonstrate the evolution carried out by the organization since May 2018. Today, you can save all the versions of your treatment sheets in Adequacy.

Implementation of confidentiality of treatments

It is not necessarily relevant that each user can have access to all the treatments entered in the register. A human resources manager may have limited interest in marketing treatments.

Since 4.6, the DPO will be able to lighten the register for its IT relays and freedoms by limiting access only to the processing sheets for their domains.

Bonus: New design of the treatment sheets

It's good to do your register. It is even mandatory. What if we turned this obligation into an advantage?

Since 4.6, the treatment sheets published by Adequacy have been promoting your work with your commercial partners.

How to integrate Adequacy into the ecosystem of multiple collaborative solutions that exist within organizations today? Email, instant messaging, and the collaborative features specific to certain solutions sometimes make monitoring exchanges complicated.

Collaboration between teams is necessary for GDPR compliance. On this subject, as on others, our wish is to imagine uses that allow a real gain in efficiency for our users.

Add notifications

When a treatment (or a Data Protection Impact Assessment) is approved by the DPO, it is a big event. At last it was...

It is increasingly rare for DPOs to travel to announce the good news, a bottle of champagne in hand. Adequacy replaces champagne (so to speak) and allows businesses to be informed as soon as a treatment sheet or an AIPD for their domain is validated.

The opposite is just as true. DPOs can now notify businesses of their refusal to validate and justify the reasons directly in the solution.

Change in the status of treatment sheets

Until now, the change of status of treatment forms was automatic on Adequacy.

When a user had filled in all the fields on a processing sheet. The solution considered this one to be over. It was then awaiting validation by the DPO. However, it may happen that some logical security measures are not all justified, or that some justifications must be completed.

Today, each user can position themselves on the status of their treatment sheet to indicate when they consider it to be completed. This makes it possible to streamline the review of the register by the DPO and his teams and therefore to gain in efficiency.
