Adequacy has announced its 2025 ambitions, citing its growth as a key factor in achieving these goals
Adequacy is strengthening its governance and developing innovative solutions to help companies comply with the RGPD and beyond; with over 600 customers in 80 countries, the company now aims to accelerate its international expansion.

Paris, April 28th 2025 - Adequacy, a leading French provider of software solutions specialising in regulatory compliance and data protection, is strategically advancing its development. With the arrival of two new key players, both investors and recognised experts, the company is determined to attack new markets and support an ambitious roadmap aimed at meeting the challenges of personal data protection, cybersecurity and multi-regulation.

From Genesis to the SaaS platform
Adequacy was developed by a team of engineers and IT organization experts within Infhotep in 2017 to support major accounts in their RGPD compliance. Its flagship product, developed in France on sovereign technologies and hosted at SecNumCloud-qualified partners, enables efficient management of the processing register, risk analysis, and global governance of personal data. Adequacy's close proximity to major accounts has enabled it to swiftly secure the trust of legal departments and Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs).
« We leveraged our extensive experience in IT consulting to develop a software platform tailored to the needs of clients such as TotalEnergies, Groupe Figaro, and Solvay. From the outset, we chose a 100% SaaS and sovereign model, guaranteeing security, simplicity, and compliance on a large scale » explains Christian des Lauriers, Founder and President of Adequacy.

Strengthened governance to support growth
As part of this new growth phase, Adequacy is pleased to announce the arrival of Bernard Fort, a successful entrepreneur in the B2B software sector, and Bernard Kirsch, an international expert in privacy. These additions will strengthen Adequacy's financial and know-how capabilities, enabling the company to increase its commercial clout, develop key partnerships, and further enhance its SaaS platform (NIS2 integration, multi-country privacy compliance management, etc.).
« We are confident that our ambitious roadmap, which covers all the major regulations inspired by the RGPD (such as the PIPL in China or the LGPD in Brazil), will be successful. This roadmap will also strengthen the involvement of CISOs and DPOs. Our solution aims to facilitate compliance for all businesses by offering a user-friendly interface and a robust security framework » says Christian Hartz, Adequacy's CTO.

Objective 2025: an ambitious vision and innovative solutions
Adequacy's ambition is to consolidate its leadership with key accounts, public authorities and midsize companies in Europe, notably by opening up further internationally. The company's positioning is distinguished by a comprehensive approach to compliance, strongly favored by the market: RGPD, NIS2, AIACT, Dora and other international regulations close to the European model.
Next steps include the finalization of SecNumCloud qualification, the release of Version 6 of the platform in spring 2025 (including multi-jurisdictional management), and new modules to facilitate collaboration between DPOs, CISOs and business departments.
« Our platform is currently utilized in over 80 countries. Through this expansion, we aim to become a key player in Europe for personal data protection, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance » concludes Christian des Lauriers.
